Millennium Park

I had seen post-cards of one feature of Millennium Park called “The Cloud” which I was sure would make an interesting photographic subject. The huge polished and hence reflective sculpture in the shape of a cloud had been designed to distort the panoramic vista making the crowds gathered under and around the feature look like Lowry people as depicted in his paintings. The cluster of impressive glass and steel sky-scrappers were close to the park and by standing in the right places these could be photographed bent and deformed. I took so many images in the minutes at my disposal that I ran out of chip-space and had to delete some to get “better ones” recorded. In my experience there is often one place that makes the trip worth-while photographically - The Cloud in Millennium Park was just such a place for me in Chicago.
